This entrepreneurship learning camp is the very first learning offer of the EC2U Entrepreneurial Academy – many interesting events will follow.

Hybrid learning camp: ENTREPRENEURSHIP FOR RESEARCH PROFESSIONALS

Individuals with academic skills need entrepreneurial competences to be able to meet the challenges caused by a changing working life. During this course, the students assess their own entrepreneurial competences and perform exercises on business idea generation in teams. Complemented with guided individual studies and reflections, the students will familiarize themselves with the entrepreneurial process.

This inspiring learning camp is presented by Professor Jarna Heinonen and Adjunct Professor Pekka Stenholm from the University of Turku. They open their face-to-face workshop to EC2U and hold it in hybrid mode, if 6 or more doctoral students of the EC2U partner universities register.

The learning camp is the very first learning offer of the EC2U Entrepreneurial Academy. The Academy aims to spark curiosity for entrepreneurship. The students and young professionals then continue their career with an awareness for entrepreneurial opportunities and the self-confidence to establish a business of their own.

In addition to a broad variety of virtual lectures and open online courses, the first EC2U Entrepreneurial Week will be held in Pavia, Italy, in April 2022. Here, EC2U students come together to celebrate transdisciplinary innovation, intercultural teamwork, and entrepreneurial experiences.
