EC2U Ambassadors are committed to creating a stronger Europe. From across the EC2U Campus, they promote the Alliance and its activities and share their experiences as active members of the Alliance.  

Together, they strengthen the student community and create a vibrant network of friendships. 

The main objectives of the EC2U Ambassador Programme are to give students their say and include them in the communication strategy as EC2U influencers and for peer-to-peer communication.

The EC2U Ambassadors will be EC2U contact points within their university and they will have the possibility to launch communication actions to promote the Alliance.

The actions may include social media posts for the university or the EC2U accounts, website articles for the EC2U website, creation of digital magazine, creation of online/hybrid events to foster exchanges, etc.

Each year 2 Ambassadors per Partner University are selected for 1 year with the possibility to re-apply the following year.

The roles of the Ambassadors is to advertise EC2U’s activities and objectives to local students

and to exchange with them by:

• Creating content
• Becoming a point of contact for the students regarding EC2U
• Engaging social media to share EC2U activities
• Encouraging student participation in EC2U events
• Communicating about the Joint Masters Programmes

According to your university, here are examples of the benefits you can have as an EC2U Ambassador:

• Final Certificate
• Training from University staff
• Mobilities for visits at different EC2U universities or for EC2U events
• Networking, meeting students from the other Universities of the Alliance
• Skill development (oral and written communication in multiple languages, public speaking, social media, relationship building, creativity, etc.)
• International collaboration

To become an EC2U Ambassador, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Be enrolled as a student at either Bachelor, Master, or PhD level at one of the 8 universities of the EC2U alliance
• Be proficient in English and have a B2 level minimum; fluency in the local language of your university is a plus
• Be interested in EC2U
• Be interested in aspects of communication and be passionate about engaging with others
• Be proficient with Social media
• Have soft skills: interpersonal, teamwork, organisational, creativity, and initiative
• Follow local criteria
• Experience in EC2U Activities would be an advantage (additional)

The call for EC2U ambassadors for the 2024-2025 academic year is now closed.

Once selected you will have to participate in a mandatory training session in Poitiers (France) between the 19th and 21st of November 2024.
