The Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași is organising the online webinar “Student Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education” on May 5, 2026 (16h CET).
The event will take place on May 5, 2026, between 16:00–18:00 CET (17:00–19:00 Romanian time) and will bring together students, academics, and researchers from EC2U Partner Universities who are interested in the increasingly important role of artificial intelligence in education and academic activity.
The webinar aims to explore how AI influences the learning process, academic work, and university life, while also providing a framework for dialogue and the exchange of good practices within the EC2U community. At the center of the discussions will be students’ experiences and perspectives, as well as their ideas on the responsible and meaningful use of artificial intelligence–based tools in the university environment.
The topics addressed will include, among others, the integration of AI into the study process, its creative uses in academic work, the challenges and limitations encountered, as well as the ethical dimension of using these technologies.
The webinar will be hosted by Prof. Adrian Iftene, from the Faculty of Computer Science of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, and the presentations will be delivered by students from EC2U universities.
The event is addressed to students, researchers, and academics from all EC2U Universities who are interested in the impact of artificial intelligence on education and the new academic practices associated with it.
Participation in the webinar requires registration by completing the form available by April 20, 2026.
The connection link will be sent to participants by email after registration.
