Thomas Kowalewski is currently serving as the Chair of the EC2U Student Council for the 2025-2026 term.

He has been actively involved in student representation and engagement since he started studying at the University of Poitiers in 2022. After being locally engaged with the EC2U Student Poitiers association for two years, he officially joined the Alliance’s Student Council in 2024 as University of Poitiers’ Student Representative.

He is also involved in several European and global initiatives, including the Student-Led Community of the FOREU4ALL project, which aims to strengthen collaboration among all European University Alliances. Through these projects, he actively advocates for greater and more meaningful student engagement in the governance of higher education initiatives.
