Between the 2nd and the 4th of May, the University of Coimbra, in Portugal, will gather EC2U students around the theme "Sharing vision together". Applications are now open, take your chance to take part in this unique experience!

What if you were to visit the oldest university in Portugal?

The University of Coimbra is among the oldest universities in continuous operation in Europe and the world, and the oldest in Portugal. In 2013, UNESCO declared the university a World Heritage Site, noting its architecture, unique culture and traditions, and historical role. Around the university, your to-do list must include: visiting the Botanical Garden, the Astronomy Observatory, the Baroque Library, the Royal Palace and the museums ; experiencing the tradition by wearing a traje académico ; and enjoying the Serenades with the Coimbra Song, a unique genre performed by students.

Now it is your chance to visit this exceptional university & to meet your european peers! The initiative aims to promote a collective discussion about topics of extreme importance for the Alliance: environment, health, education, and peace.
