The series of gender equality masterclasses of the RI4C2 project features experts in the field of gender equality and explores various aspects of this topic to support the development of more equitable and inclusive research and innovation environments. The last episode of this series was produced at the University of Poitiers. It showcases strategies, measures and actions that were initiated to promote gender equality and diversity at the University of Poitiers.

The University of Poitiers gender equality task force

In the latest masterclass on gender equality from the University of Poitiers, Catherine Rannoux, Professor of French and Stylistics and head of the Equality and Diversity Task Force, presents recent measures and actions introduced to promote gender equality, diversity, and combat discrimination. This discussion highlights ongoing efforts and challenges, offering an opportunity to share experiences and reflect on developing a policy of substantive equality and the university’s role in the contemporary world.

The « Sciences en Mouvement d’Elles » project

This part of the masterclass for Gender Equality in Research aims to highlight women’s career paths in research and entrepreneurship, and to address stereotypes and gender inequality in these fields. It provides an overview of the “Sciences En Mouvement d’Elles” project through the account of Albane Rozenholc, a PhD student in Microbiology and Molecular biology at the University of Poitiers, who is involved in this initiative.
