The FECT Summer School "Language Meets Interculture" is coming at the University of Jena! Students and staff from the EC2U Alliance are invited to join this unique experience.

Jena welcomes the EC2U community once again for an exciting week, focused on experimental approaches to intercultural learning as well as foreign languages learning & teaching.

 

A full programme awaits you!

  • Workshops
Outdoor trainers and academic lecturers from different parts of Germany as well as from Poitiers, France, will show you tools and techniques to develop your awareness, intercultural competences and language learning skills.
  • Visit Weimar
The city of Goethe & Schiller offers a wide range of impressions about the historical and modern cultural city of Weimar. Participants will enjoy a guided tour of the Goethe House, a visit on the thematic of the “colonial heritage in Germany” as well as a yoga break with in Ilmpark.
  • Exchange and Networking
Participants will be in touch with students and staff from the seven EC2U partner universities. A great opportunity for exchange and networking!

 

 

Application

The FECT Summer School is open to all: students of all faculties and employees from all areas of the EC2U universities are welcomed!

You can apply here until 30th June 2023 by sending a motivation letter in English (Students will need to add a proof of their current student status – e.g. student ID.)

All candidates will be informed about the results of the selection via e-mail by the 07th July 2023.

Mobility grants are available for this summer school.
