Released in January 2022 during the Forum for the Universities of the Future in Paris, the Manifesto for the Future of Universities in Europe is the result of cooperation and open discussions between Bachelor, Master and PhD students from all backgrounds. This Manifesto asserts students’ voices on how to improve European Higher Education and highlights their vision for the future of European universities.

The EC2U Alliance declared its support to this initiative by signing this Manifesto for the Future of Universities in Europe. We believe in contributing to the creation of a higher education ecosystem through a new model of quality education for an inclusive and sustainable civic society within a united and stronger Europe. Students should be the leaders of global change and the actors of our future. Europe and European Alliances can be a way to answer the current issues and propose solutions for the future through the involvement and commitment of students, teachers, staff members, and citizens.
