The Virtual Institute for Life on Land (VI LL) aims at developing inter-disciplinary activities in the area of UNSDG#15 Life on Land. Specifically, this VI aims at developing activities around three key focus areas: Food Production / Water Management / Biodiversity.
The VI aims at bringing together students, researchers and innovators in joint activities which can take the form of joint research activities but also webinars and/or seminars.
VIQE-ES is led by the University of Turku and co-led by the University of Salamanca. It was officially launched in 2024 via the adoption of an EC2U R&I Agenda within the framework of the RI4C2 Project (2021-2024).
Other activities will be implemented as the VI establishes itself which could potentially include: joint research activities and joint training activities.
