VI Presentation

The Virtual Institute for Materials & Methods for a Sustainable Future (VI MMSF) aims at developing inter-disciplinary activities in this transversal topic which cuts across several UNSDGs. Specifically, the VI MMSF aims at developing activities around three key focus areas: Advanced materials for energy saving and storage / Additive manufacturing / Computer-based and/or nature-inspired materials methods for materials of the future.

It aims at bringing together students, researchers and innovators in joint activities which can take the form of joint research projects, joint master’s courses as well as webinars and/or seminars.

VI MMSF is led by the University of Poitiers and co-led by the University of Linz. It was officially launched in 2024 via the adoption of an EC2U R&I Agenda within the framework of the RI4C2 Project (2021-2024).
