Welcome

The academic community of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi is happy to welcome you to the 5th EC2U Forum, proudly hosted by our university and city on 11-13 October 2022.

Through its workshops, presentations and dialogues with the citizens, the Forum in Iasi will be a new opportunity for the academia of the seven universities and for the citizens of our cities to share and exchange views on topics of mutual interest, aiming to connect communities and boost mobility within our alliance.

Looking forward to meeting you all in Iasi in October,

Prof.dr. Tudorel Toader, Rector of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi

For over 160 years, quality university education has been a brand of Iași City and hosting here the prestigious European Campus of City-Universities (EC2U) Forum confirms it. In an increasingly complicated world, education must return to its main missions: to create new skills and new bridges between people. The university, as an expression of diversity, of community, dedicated to study, shows us that only together we can make a better world. So, let’s step into the future together! Good luck with the works of the Forum!

Mihai Chirica, Mayor of Iași

Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Iasi is pleased to welcome the EC2U community in the cultural capital of Romania, during the EC2U forum. Our volunteers are eager to meet you all and do their best to make your stay in Iasi unforgettable.

We are proud to be part of this amazing community as associated partners and we strongly support the promotion of the European values and identity, as well as the objectives of the EC2U Alliance.

Iolanda Bogleș, President of ESN Iași
